Another Theme Song for my Life at This Time

I found another theme song that fits this time in my life precisely. Of course not every lyric fits exactly, but close enough. I heard the song on the radio today and immediately thought of it as another theme song. The song is called "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" by U2. I equate it to looking for a teaching job. I've been looking and looking and looking but still haven't found what I'm looking for. Of course U2 meant the lyrics to be finding a woman, not me, it's all about finding a job. I plan to find what I'm looking for soon!

I have climbed highest mountain
I have run through the fields
Only to be with you   (Change to..."only to get a job")
Only to be with you

I have run
I have crawled
I have scaled these city walls
These city walls
Only to be with you

But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for

I have kissed honey lips  (I haven't done this)
Felt the healing in her fingertips (or this)
It burned like fire
This burning desire

I have spoke with the tongue of angels
I have held the hand of a devil
It was warm in the night
I was cold as a stone

But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for

I believe in the kingdom come
Then all the colors will bleed into one
Bleed into one
Well yes I'm still running

You broke the bonds and you
Loosed the chains
Carried the cross
Of my shame
Of my shame
You know I believed it

But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for...
