Last Day

I slept in on our last day at sea. I was shocked when I looked at my watch and saw 8:45. I ate breakfast and went on the lido deck for only a little while. It was very windy out because we were traveling so fast and because it was just windy. I had rehearsal at 12 for the legends show that night. At first I was upset because I'd be missing time in the sun. However, the weather was overcast and windy like I said so I got over it. Rehearsal was only about 45 minutes. They had a chocolate buffet for lunch. It was amazing! At 4:30, I went to a Q and A about the ship. People asked all sorts of questions about what it's like to work on a ship, what happens with wasted food, where do the workers stay, etc. I thought that was extremely interesting stuff to hear. After dinner, we went to the family friendly comedy show. It was pretty good. I then had to go to the main show area at 9:15 even though the show didn't start until 10:15. During dinner and after, the boat was very rocky. Everyone walked around looking like they had too many drinks. Out of 10 performers, I went third singing "Crocodile Rock" in front of hundreds of people. Although I kept messing up the lyrics in the same spot when practicing, I made 0 mistakes during the live performance! Going on stage and singing solo is something I have never done before. However, I had the time of my life doing it! So many people said I did a great job after the show was over. They decked me out in the whole Elton John outfit. I was sweating like you wouldn't believe. After that, I watched the adult comedy show and finished the night in the casino until past 2. We were off the ship the next morning by 10:15 and home mid afternoon. I think 7 days on a ship is just a little bit too long for me. I think 6 would be perfect. I don't know exactly where I'd rank this in my 5 cruises. I remember the last 3 vividly because they were the last three years. I had an amazing time on all three. Since I had such a great time on all three, I can't pick a favorite cruise. I highly recommend cruises to anyone who wants to get a lot out of their money.
